NFL Draft: Heisman winner Griffin has impressive Pro Day (CNNSI)

WACO, Texas (AP) - Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III has completed an impressive pro day performance.
With Washington Redskins owner Dan Snyder and coach Mike Shanahan among NFL personnel watching, Griffin was sharp on a scripted 51 passes he has been working on with quarterback consultant Terry Shea.
Griffin, who didn't throw at the NFL combine last month, was at ease throughout his 30-minute session. He smiled, slapped the hands of his receivers - including Baylor teammate and NFL prospect Kendall Wright - and was precise on most throws.
Washington traded three first-round picks and a second-rounder to St. Louis for the No. 2 pick in next month's NFL draft. That's presumably to select Griffin since the Indianapolis Colts, now without Peyton Manning, are expected to take Andrew Luck from Stanford first overall.

NFL: Redskins to Trade for No. 2 Pick From Rams

The St. Louis Rams agreed in principle Saturday to trading the No. 2 pick of the draft to the Washington Redskins for three first-round selections.
The Redskins are paying a hefty price to move into position to take Heisman Trophy winner Robert Griffin III. They're giving the Rams their first- and second-round selections this year, plus first-round picks in 2013 and 2014.
Chief operating officer Kevin Demoff confirmed to The Associated Press details of the trade, which cannot be completed until Tuesday. FOXsports.com and ESPN.com first reported details of the agreement Friday night. (MORE>>>)
NFL: St. Louis Rams admit willingness to trade No. 2 pick

The St. Louis Rams are willing to trade the second overall pick of the April draft.
Chief operating officer Kevin Demoff said Tuesday that the team would make a deal under the right circumstances, but has not made any commitments despite a report late Monday that a trade had already been decided. He said new coach Jeff Fisher and general manager Les Snead went to the NFL combine with an open mind.
"I think coach Fisher and Les have been upfront that we will listen to offers for the 2 pick," Demoff said in an email to The Associated Press. "I didn't see anything in the report that differed from their statements."
Quarterbacks Andrew Luck and Robert Griffin III are expected to go 1-2 in the draft, with Indianapolis holding the top pick. The Rams need plenty of help but are set at quarterback with Sam Bradford, the first overall pick in 2010.

NFL Combine 2012: Robert Griffin III stands tall at NFL combine

ESPN- We learned something today about Baylor quarterback Robert Griffin III at the NFL combine today. He really is 6 feet 2. Well, to be accurate, RG3 measured in at 6 feet 2, 3/8 inches.
He was listed at 6-2 at Baylor, but there had been talk that he was
closer to 6 feet. While quarterbacks like Drew Brees and Michael Vick
have overcome the lack of height, there is a stronger track record for
taller quarterbacks in the NFL.
Height still matters in this league, and there's not a lot of
instances where teams use draft picks on short quarterbacks, especially
first-round picks.
So, RG3 passed his first test at the combine. He will interview with
teams tonight, which includes a 15-minue chat with the Cleveland
Browns. The Browns are in the process of determining whether RG3 is
worth trading up from No. 4 in the draft. -ESPN By Jamison Hensley
