NFL Football: Recent 911 call- T.O. attempted suicide

In 2006, receiver Terrell Owens created a major stir with a drug overdose that was believed to be a suicide attempt.  Last month, Owens reportedly had another overdose, as reported by TMZ.

Now, TMZ has obtained the 911 call that was placed earlier this month.  Asked whether the ingestion of prescription medication was a suicide attempt, a woman who was speaking to the 911 dispatcher said, “Yes.  I believe so.(MORE>>>)

NFL Football: Terrell Owens Gets One Contract Offer

Free agent Terrell Owens conducted a workout on Tuesday that was open to the media but no NFL teams showed up to see where Owens stood on his recovery from a torn ACL six months early. That's not a huge surprise because any team looking to sign him will bring him in for a visit.

Agent Drew Rosenhaus has said he hasn't gotten any calls from NFL teams but there is one football team out there that's offered a contract -- an Arena Football league team. The Chicago Rush, looking to capitalize on the T.O. attention, announced on Wednesday that they've extended a contract offer to Owens. (MORE>>>)

NFL Football: T.O. works out, with no teams in attendance

NFL Network carried Terrell Owens‘ workout live on Tuesday afternoon, and Owens had better hope some NFL front office personnel were watching, because no teams were there.

Linday Soto was live on the scene and reported that no teams were confirmed to be in attendance, and that there wasn’t a single team’s scout in the area “unless somebody snuck in and isn’t wearing team gear.” The workout took place on a high school field in Calabasas, California, and the stands were empty. NFL Football: Terrell Owens could play Sunday, Rosenhaus says

There have been doubts about whether free-agent wide receiver Terrell Owens, at age 37 and coming off knee surgery for a torn ACL, would be healthy enough to play somewhere in 2011—or ever again.

According to enthusiastic Twitter posts from his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, T.O. is ready to go if a team picks him as early as for Week 7. (MORE>>>)
